Dr. Vilchis is board certified by the American Board of Urology and a member of the American Urologic Association. She graduated from medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed her residency in Urology at the University of California San Diego Medical Center, including the UCSD Moore’s Cancer Center and the Veteran’s Administration hospital. Her interests in Urology include: BPH, kidney stones, Urologic cancers, and voiding dysfunction including incontinence and female pelvic medicine.

Dr. Vilchis was drawn to the field of Urology because of the wide variety of patients and conditions treated by a Urologist. She enjoys the continuity of care that so many urology patients enjoy and the long term relationship that develops between Urologist and patient.
